Atlas Hong Kong is where the MJH model was born. It started in 2017 as a single apartment in Yau Ma Tei. One floor became two. Two became three. Today it spans multiple floors with dorms, private rooms, and ensuites, all under one design-led brand. Nearly ten years in, Atlas HK is the property that validated everything that came after: the conviction that overlooked urban buildings, when rebranded and redesigned with intent, can outperform purpose-built competitors at a fraction of the cost.
MJH acquired AYUDA in 2023 from a previous operator running this beachfront property near Negombo at 15 percent occupancy year-round. Great bones, a sea-view setting, no strategy. We are repositioning it end to end as a wellness-led sanctuary: sea-view suites and garden patio rooms, a pool, beachfront dining, and a dedicated yoga and wellness space, with pricing, distribution, and positioning rebuilt to maximize RevPAR. AYUDA relaunches May 1, 2026.
Atlas Sri Lanka is under construction now in Negombo. We acquired a commercial asset with no prior hospitality use and are converting it from zero into a design-led property of 5 rooms: four social dormitories with custom-built capsule bunks, privacy curtains, and reading lights, plus one private room. Every bunk, every bathroom, every circulation layout has been architecturally redesigned from scratch. The property is proof of what MJH does best: taking unrelated commercial real estate and turning it into functional, brand-aligned hospitality. Opens September 1, 2026.

With Atlas Sri Lanka opening September 2026, we are actively scouting the next round of acquisition targets across Sri Lanka, from Colombo to Galle and the south coast. Our criteria: underperforming or non-hospitality assets in high-footfall locations, below USD 500k entry, with clear repositioning upside.
If you invest in hospitality real estate, own a property that needs repositioning, or want to partner on a new acquisition, let's talk.
